What are right wing, left wing, and centre in Indian context?

With all this debate going on about current Indian govt. being "right wing" and liberal being said as "left wing", and still no term about "Congress" party. I would still want to know about actual differences and definitions of these terms.

"Social equality" VS "Social hierarchy" in short

I would simply put the Wikipedia definition here:

Left–right political spectrum:
The left–right political spectrum is a system of classifying political positions, ideologies and parties, from equality on the left to social hierarchy on the right.

Left-wing politics:
Left-wing politics supports social equality and egalitarianism, often in opposition to social hierarchy. It typically involves a concern for those in society whom its adherents perceive as disadvantaged relative to others as well as a belief that there are unjustified inequalities that need to be reduced or abolished.

Right-wing politics:
Right-wing political thinking holds that certain social orders and hierarchies are inevitable, natural, normal, or desirable, typically supporting this position on the basis of natural law, economics, or tradition. Hierarchy and inequality may be viewed as natural results of traditional social differences or the competition in market economies. The term right-wing can generally refer to "the conservative or reactionary section of a political party or system".

Congress or Indian National Congress (INC) party would still be called left inclining but still maintaining balance between left and right because of significant diversity and traditions in Indian cultures.
